Primarily intended as a place to write up or display interesting projects, but it will include a scattering of other hobby posts until I decide whether they should have their own home or a subdomain. Built with 11ty and presumably hosted via Netlify. This is a shift from the last several years of hosting on Heroku with a dynamic React/TS portfolio site. I did enjoy learning that stack of technologies but it became too unwieldy to maintain and update with the amount of steps to deploy each time. I'm hoping that if I can make this understandable to less tech/programming savvy friends they may also be inclined to start their own personal sites! I love the idea of having an RSS feed of myself and friends posting on blogs and getting back to the original spark that made social media interesting to me. :)</p>
